New Comer Ethiopian Store Clerk Killed in Mayland (Video) UPDATE 1
May 12 | Posted by Ethiopiaforums |Prince George’s Police are investigating the murder of a 7-11 employee in Ft. Washington during a robbery attempt, officials say.
Authorities say the employee of the convenience store at 9201 Oxon Hill Rd. was robbed, then shot dead. The suspects fled the store towards Fort Foote Road and left a trail of money behind.
A law enforcement source says that the victim, an Ethiopian immigrant identified as Abebayheu Jagiso, complied with the suspects, both of whom wore masks to conceal their identities. One suspect wore a mask from the movie Scream.
A source says that Jagiso was shot execution style.
Police spokesman Col. Mike Rodriguez says the shooting took place at about 3:30 a.m. Authorities are pulling surveillance footage from the store.

Another employee was in the store at the time of the shooting and hid from the suspects. He was unharmed.
A source said Jagiso, who lived in Alexandria, had been in the United States for about two months and had worked at the 7-11 for two weeks.

According to Abebayheu Jagiso Facebook page he is from Areko in Southern Ethiopia and studied in Arbaminch university and Unity University.

This is so tragic. This young may was a tax paying worker whose life was snuffed out by these thugs. You will get caught and I hope this same thing happens to someone you love so that you can see how it feels to kill a perfectly innocent person who was working hard to achieve his dreams. He could be my son…RIP Jagiso.
